Clay based soil that works for planting, but can be chunky and harder to work with that screened topsoil.  Very few rocks.

Topsoil before putting it through any screening.

Screened topsoil that has been run through our 3/4″ screener. Helps to remove clay chunks, rocks, and other derbis.  The screening process makes it easy to work with, but maintains the clay base which is important for holding moisture in the middle of the summer.  

Screenings from limestone driveway base. Gentle on hooves so it is great for Cattle and horses.
